Fixed Income Trader

Citigroup is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Fixed Income trader to join our global team. This role requires an individual with extensive knowledge and experience trading a variety of fixed income securities. The successful candidate will be an autonomous and creative thinker who is capable of acting quickly in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate should have a strong background in risk management, strategy development, and financial analytics. They should possess excellent quantitative skills and the ability to interpret complex market data. They should be a proactive and organized individual with the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team. An understanding of fixed income products and markets is essential. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills are also essential.The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in fixed income trading and a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. 4. Keeping up-to-date on relevant market developments and evaluating the impact of changes on trading strategies.
5. Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, brokers, and other financial institutions.
6. Preparing reports and presentations for senior management to review.
7. Ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations governing fixed income trading.
8. Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices.
