Job Description

At Citigroup, we're looking for a Credit Analyst who is eager to take on responsibility for conducting financial analysis and assessing creditworthiness of our clients. This position requires an individual who is organized, meticulous, and has a deep understanding of financial analysis and credit risk. If you have a knack for problem-solving and a desire to make a difference, we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a financial/credit analysis role, a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, and a strong understanding of credit risk. Additionally, the successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to analyze financial data, and the confidence to make sound recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct financial analysis of clients' financial data to assess creditworthiness.
  2. Analyze financial data to identify areas of risk and make sound recommendations.
  3. Monitor and review current and potential clients' credit portfolios.
  4. Assess credit risk associated with clients and make sound decisions.
  5. Create reports that summarize credit risk analysis assessments.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy of credit risk assessments.
  7. Maintain a deep understanding of best practices and regulations related to credit risk.
  8. Develop and implement credit risk strategies and processes.
  9. Monitor industry trends and developments related to credit risk management.
  10. Provide training and guidance to credit risk analysts and other related personnel.
