
Credit Analyst
At Citigroup, we're looking for a Credit Analyst who is eager to take on responsibility for conducting financial analysis and assessing creditworthiness of our clients. This position requires an individual who is organized, meticulous, and has a deep understanding of financial analysis and credit risk. If you have a knack for problem-solving and a desire to make a difference, we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a financial/credit analysis role, a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, and a strong understanding of credit risk. Additionally, the successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to analyze financial data, and the confidence to make sound recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis of clients' financial data to assess creditworthiness.
- Analyze financial data to identify areas of risk and make sound recommendations.
- Monitor and review current and potential clients' credit portfolios.
- Assess credit risk associated with clients and make sound decisions.
- Create reports that summarize credit risk analysis assessments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy of credit risk assessments.
- Maintain a deep understanding of best practices and regulations related to credit risk.
- Develop and implement credit risk strategies and processes.
- Monitor industry trends and developments related to credit risk management.
- Provide training and guidance to credit risk analysts and other related personnel.
