Job Description

At Citigroup, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Credit Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of credit analysis, financial reporting, and business evaluation processes. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing and assessing creditworthiness of clients, managing credit and collections, and making recommendations regarding credit limits and terms.You should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in credit analysis. You should also be detail-oriented and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You should also have a thorough knowledge of financial regulations, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and assess creditworthiness of clients
  2. Manage credit and collections
  3. Make recommendations regarding credit limits and terms
  4. Prepare financial statements and reports
  5. Maintain accurate records of credit activity
  6. Monitor customer accounts for payment delinquencies
  7. Resolve customer payment issues
  8. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  10. Provide accurate and timely financial analysis
  11. Identify areas for improvement to enhance credit risk management
  12. Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
