Job Description

Are you looking for a challenging role in the financial industry? Citigroup is currently seeking a Credit Analyst to join its team of professionals. The Credit Analyst is responsible for conducting due diligence and financial analysis to assess credit risk on prospective and existing customers. The ideal candidate should have a high level of financial acumen and be able to interpret financial statements.Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field• At least 3 years of experience in credit analysis• Expert knowledge of credit analysis, financial statements, and financial modeling• Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Detail-oriented and highly organizedIf you have the experience and qualifications to excel in this role, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities of a Credit Analyst:

  1. Perform due diligence and financial analysis to assess credit risk on prospective and existing customers.
  2. Analyze financial statements of customers to determine credit worthiness.
  3. Develop and maintain financial models to forecast the performance of customers.
  4. Monitor the financial performance of existing customers and identify risks.
  5. Make recommendations for credit limit increases and changes to terms.
  6. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate credit decisions to stakeholders.
  7. Participate in team meetings to discuss credit decisions.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and industry best practices.
  9. Provide support to other departments as needed.
