The Credit Analyst is responsible for conducting due diligence and financial analysis to assess credit risk on prospective and existing customers. Responsibilities of a Credit Analyst:
- Perform due diligence and financial analysis to assess credit risk on prospective and existing customers.
- Analyze financial statements of customers to determine credit worthiness.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast the performance of customers.
- Monitor the financial performance of existing customers and identify risks.
- Make recommendations for credit limit increases and changes to terms.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate credit decisions to stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss credit decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and industry best practices.
- Provide support to other departments as needed.
