At Citigroup, we are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring our company adheres to legal and internal compliance regulations. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, and at least three years of experience in a compliance role. The successful candidate will also have a thorough understanding of financial regulations and a strong working knowledge of the banking industry.We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is a team player and has a passion for compliance. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce compliance with legal and internal regulations
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Review financial documents, reports, and other materials for compliance
- Maintain updated knowledge of relevant regulations
- Investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare and submit compliance reports
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with managers and staff to ensure compliance
- Provide training to staff on compliance policies and procedures
- Monitor and review compliance activities and audit results
- Respond to inquiries from external regulatory bodies
- Identify and report compliance risks to the management team
