  1. Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee relations matters, including but not limited to workplace conflicts, discrimination, harassment, and policy violations.
  2. Serve as the main point of contact for all employee relations investigations and work closely with HR Business Partners, Legal, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  3. Develop and implement investigation plans, conduct interviews, gather evidence, and make recommendations based on the findings.
  4. Maintain complete and accurate records of all investigations, including documentation of interviews, evidence, and final outcomes.
  5. Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners and managers on employee relations issues and best practices.
  6. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to employee relations and ensure investigations are conducted in compliance with them.
  7. Analyze trends and patterns in employee relations issues and make recommendations to improve policies and procedures.
  8. Collaborate with the training team to develop and deliver training programs on topics related to employee relations and workplace conduct.
  9. Serve as a resource for employees, providing guidance and support on how to address and resolve workplace conflicts.
  10. Uphold the company's values and code of conduct, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  12. Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and ethical behavior in all interactions with employees, managers, and stakeholders.
  13. Participate in HR and company-wide initiatives to continuously improve employee relations processes and procedures.
  14. Represent the company in legal proceedings related to employee relations matters, if necessary.
  15. Mentor and train junior employee relations investigators, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Employee Relations: A Senior Employee Relations Lead Investigator At Citi Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Handling Complex Employee Relations Issues, Including Conducting Investigations And Providing Recommendations For Resolution.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations: This Role Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Employment Laws, As Well As Citi's Policies And Procedures. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Applying This Knowledge To Effectively Resolve Employee Relations Matters.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior Employee Relations Lead Investigator, The Ability To Communicate Clearly And Effectively With Employees, Managers, And Hr Partners Is Crucial. This Includes Conducting Interviews, Delivering Difficult Messages, And Providing Guidance On Employee Relations Issues.

  • Proven Investigative Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills, As Well As Experience Conducting Thorough And Unbiased Investigations. This Includes Gathering And Analyzing Evidence, Identifying Key Issues, And Making Sound Recommendations Based On Findings.

  • Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information: This Role Requires A High Level Of Discretion And Confidentiality. The Senior Employee Relations Lead Investigator Must Be Able To Handle Sensitive Employee Information With Professionalism And Maintain Confidentiality At All Times.
