  1. Conduct thorough and in-depth research on the U.S. credit market, including trends, developments, and opportunities.
  2. Collaborate with investment professionals to develop investment strategies that align with the team's objectives and goals.
  3. Analyze and interpret financial data and market information to identify potential investment opportunities and risks.
  4. Stay updated on industry developments and changes in the credit market to provide timely and relevant insights to the team.
  5. Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations on investment ideas and strategies to internal stakeholders and clients.
  6. Monitor and track the performance of investments and make recommendations for portfolio adjustments as needed.
  7. Work closely with other team members to share insights and collaborate on investment decisions.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with expert knowledge and support.
  9. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success and growth of the U.S. Investment Grade Credit team.
  10. Continuously expand and enhance knowledge of credit markets and investment strategies through ongoing education and professional development.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Finance Or Economics: A Research Strategist At Citi Should Possess At Least A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Finance Or Economics. This Level Of Education Ensures A Strong Understanding Of Financial Markets And The Ability To Analyze Complex Data.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of U.s. Investment Grade Credit Markets: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The U.s. Investment Grade Credit Market, Including Its Drivers, Trends, And Key Players. This Knowledge Is Essential In Providing Accurate And Insightful Research For Clients.

  • Strong Analytical And Quantitative Skills: A Research Strategist Should Have Strong Analytical Abilities And Be Comfortable Working With Large Datasets. They Should Also Have A Strong Grasp Of Quantitative Techniques And Be Able To Use Them To Draw Meaningful Conclusions From Complex Data.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Research Strategist, The Ability To Effectively Communicate Research Findings And Recommendations Is Crucial. This Includes Both Written And Verbal Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Create Compelling Presentations.

  • Experience In A Similar Role: Previous Experience In A Research Role Focused On U.s. Investment Grade Credit Is Highly Desired. This Demonstrates A Track Record Of Success In Conducting Research, Analyzing Data, And Providing Actionable Insights To Clients.
