- Develop and implement ESG rating methodologies and processes in alignment with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate ESG performance of Citi's business operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure integration of ESG considerations into decision making processes.
- Conduct regular ESG assessments and audits to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
- Prepare and publish ESG disclosures and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stay updated on emerging ESG trends, regulations, and reporting frameworks.
- Identify and engage with external stakeholders, including investors, rating agencies, and NGOs, to enhance Citi's ESG reputation and credibility.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues and business partners on ESG matters.
- Engage with senior leadership to drive awareness and understanding of the importance of ESG practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with ESG research and data providers.
- Monitor and track ESG performance and progress against established goals and targets.
- Educate and train employees on ESG principles and practices.
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve Citi's ESG performance and promote responsible and sustainable practices.
Knowledge Of Esg Principles And Frameworks: A Manager - Esg Ratings And Disclosure At Citi Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Environmental, Social, And Governance Principles And Be Familiar With Relevant Frameworks Such As The Global Reporting Initiative (Gri) And Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (Sasb).
Experience In Esg Analysis And Reporting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Conducting Esg Analysis, Developing Sustainability Reports, And Managing Esg Ratings And Disclosures For A Large Organization. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of Data Collection, Analysis, And Reporting Methodologies.
Familiarity With Regulatory Landscape: In Order To Ensure Compliance With Regulatory Requirements, A Manager - Esg Ratings And Disclosure Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Evolving Esg Regulatory Landscape At Both The National And International Level.
Strong Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: As A Key Interface Between Internal Stakeholders And External Rating Agencies, The Manager - Esg Ratings And Disclosure Should Possess Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Esg Issues To A Variety Of Audiences.
