Fixed Income Trading Analyst - Municipal Securities

Citi is seeking a highly-motivated and experienced Fixed Income Trading Analyst – Municipal Securities to join our team. This individual will need to be a strategic thinker with strong quantitative skills, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. The successful candidate should have a deep understanding of the municipal bond market, and a proven track record of success in municipal trading and analysis. The Fixed Income Trading Analyst – Municipal Securities will be responsible for providing quantitative analysis, research and support to Citi’s municipal securities trading desk. This position requires a combination of analytical and interpersonal skills, as the analyst will need to collaborate with trading and sales professionals to identify and implement trading strategies and identify new opportunities in the municipal bond market.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in municipal securities trading• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg• Ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
