As a Varicent Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the success of our partner relationships by designing, implementing, and maintaining our incentive compensation system.   1. Design and implement the Varicent incentive compensation system for our partner program.
  2. Maintain and continuously improve the Varicent system to ensure accurate and efficient processing of partner incentives.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the Varicent system to minimize disruption to the partner program.
  5. Monitor and analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for program enhancements.
  6. Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flows, technical specifications, and user guides.
  7. Train and support end-users on how to use the Varicent system effectively.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in incentive compensation management to ensure our program remains competitive and effective.
  9. Work closely with the sales and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of incentives and commissions.
  10. Communicate regularly with partners to address any questions or concerns related to the incentive program.
  11. Collaborate with IT and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the Varicent system.
  12. Participate in project planning and execution for system upgrades and new system implementations.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive partner data.
  14. Continuously evaluate and streamline processes to increase efficiency and accuracy of the incentive program.
  15. Represent Cisco Systems in a professional and positive manner to partners and stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Software Development, Preferably In A Sales Performance Management System.

  • Expertise In Varicent Software, Including Configuration, Customization, And Maintenance.

  • Strong Understanding Of Partner Incentives And Sales Compensation Processes.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Technical Issues.
