Job Description

Welcome to Cisco Systems, a global leader in networking and IT solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ThousandEyes Channel Account Manager to join our team in Japan. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with our channel partners to drive sales of ThousandEyes products and services.   1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners in Japan to promote and sell ThousandEyes products and services.
  2. Collaborate with channel partners to develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans to meet revenue targets.
  3. Act as the main point of contact for channel partners, providing them with support and resources to enable successful sales and customer satisfaction.
  4. Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners to identify opportunities for growth and address any issues or concerns.
  5. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations for improving sales and business strategies.
  6. Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement joint marketing initiatives with channel partners to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  7. Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams, such as product management and customer success, to ensure a seamless experience for channel partners and their customers.
  9. Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote ThousandEyes products and services.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve channel partner programs to drive maximum ROI and partner satisfaction.
  11. Act as a brand ambassador for ThousandEyes, representing the company and its values in a professional and positive manner.
  12. Stay informed about ThousandEyes products and services, and be able to effectively communicate their value proposition to channel partners and their customers.
  13. Provide training and support to channel partners on ThousandEyes products, services, and sales processes.
  14. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and channel partner interactions in the company's CRM system.
  15. Uphold company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Fluent In Japanese And English: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Be Able To Communicate Effectively In Both Japanese And English, As They Will Be Working With Clients And Partners In Japan As Well As With The Global Cisco Systems Team.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Japanese Market: As The Channel Account Manager For Japan, It Is Important To Have A Deep Understanding Of The Local Market, Including Business Practices, Cultural Nuances, And Key Players.

  • Proven Track Record In Channel Management: The Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Managing Channel Partners And Building Successful Partner Programs, Preferably In The Technology Industry.

  • Excellent Communication And Relationship-Building Skills: A Key Responsibility Of The Channel Account Manager Is To Build And Maintain Strong Relationships With Channel Partners, As Well As Internal Stakeholders. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Technical Knowledge And Understanding Of Thousandeyes Products: While Not Necessary To Have A Technical Background, The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Thousandeyes Products And Their Capabilities In Order To Effectively Support Channel Partners And Customers. Previous Experience With Similar Saas Products Is A Plus.
