Job Description

Cisco Systems is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Test Automation Engineer Intern to join our fast-paced and innovative team. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, a passion for automation, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.We are seeking someone with solid programming skills, excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, and who is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate should also be knowledgeable in QA automation best practices and software development life cycle processes. Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop test automation frameworks and scripts to automate functional, regression, and performance testing.
  2. Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated tests using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C#.
  3. Configure and maintain test environments including databases, web servers, and application servers.
  4. Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Assist with manual testing when needed.
  6. Track and report progress on automation efforts.
  7. Collaborate with other teams in the organization to ensure quality of software.
  8. Adhere to established software development life cycle processes and best practices.
  9. Update automation scripts as needed to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
