
Test Automation Engineer Intern
Cisco Systems is looking for an ambitious and motivated Test Automation Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. As a Test Automation Engineer Intern, you'll have an opportunity to work with world-class engineering teams to create automated functional and regression tests for our products. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining end-to-end test automation solutions.The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong technical background with a demonstrated interest in testing and automation. We’re looking for a creative, self-motivated problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a passion for quality.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field• Working knowledge of software development and engineering principles• Experience with scripting and automation tools, such as Python, Selenium, and Jenkins• Familiarity with test design techniques and approaches• Understanding of software development lifecycle concepts• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Responsibilities of a Test Automation Engineer Intern at Cisco Systems:
• Design and develop automated tests for Cisco Systems’ products.
• Create and maintain end-to-end test automation solutions.
• Utilize scripting and automation tools, such as Python, Selenium, and Jenkins, to create automated tests.
• Generate test data, analyze test results, and document findings.
• Follow software development lifecycle concepts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure quality of products.
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging tasks as needed.
• Monitor and review changes in test automation processes.
• Maintain and update test plans and test cases.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in software testing and automation.
