
Sourcing Commodity Manager
You will work closely with Hardware Design Engineers across Cisco. Early sensing and engagement with Hardware Engineering to understand their product roadmap. This individual will lead and orchestrate the roadmap reviews between Engineering and Suppliers, find solutions, build proposals, and implement to meet Business requirements, striking balance between supply continuity, cost, and delivery. Investigating and sourcing next generation chip technology. Aligning and influencing engineering on roadmap and strategy. Providing technical expertise, special knowledge, and market trends to engineering. Drive value engineering through ideation and execution.
5 to 7 years of semiconductor industry experience
Knowledge of microprocessor and communications IC features and applications
Knowledge of Networking/Communication technology,
Experience with technology/component risk rating and mitigation plan
Marketing and sales experience in Semiconductor Industry a plus
