- Lead a team of software engineers in the development and testing of Nexus HyperFabric technology
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex software solutions
- Set technical direction and provide guidance to the team in order to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of projects
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software engineering to drive innovation within the team
- Act as a subject matter expert for the HyperFabric technology, providing technical guidance and support to stakeholders
- Collaborate with product management to define product roadmap and plan for future releases
- Communicate progress, challenges, and risks to upper management and stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner
- Represent the Nexus HyperFabric team in meetings, conferences, and other networking events to promote the product and strengthen relationships with industry professionals.
Expertise In Software Development: A Strong Background In Software Development, Including Experience In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, Or C++, Is Essential For A Software Engineering Technical Leader At Cisco Systems. This Individual Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Software Design Principles And Experience Working With Large-Scale Software Systems.
Leadership Skills: As A Technical Leader, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Software Engineers And Guiding Them In The Development Of Complex Software Projects. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, Are Crucial For Success In This Role.
Experience With Networking Technologies: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have Experience Working With Networking Technologies, Such As Routing And Switching Protocols, Network Virtualization, And Software-Defined Networking (Sdn). This Experience Will Enable Them To Understand And Address The Unique Challenges Of Developing Software For Networking Environments.
