  9. Provide technical guidance and support to junior database administrators.

  11. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical database systems.
  12. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve database-related issues.
  13. Document database processes, procedures, and configurations.
  14. Continuously monitor and analyze database usage to identify trends and make recommendations for future capacity planning.
  15. Adhere to industry best practices and standards for database administration.
  16. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  17. Act as a subject matter expert for all database-related inquiries and escalations.
  18. Take ownership of database-related projects and ensure successful completion within defined timelines.
  19. Mentor and train junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  20. Act as a liaison between the database team and other IT teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Database Administration: A Senior Database Administrator At Cisco Systems Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Database Administration. This Includes Experience In Database Design, Implementation, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting.

  • Expertise In Multiple Database Platforms: Cisco Systems Uses A Variety Of Database Platforms Such As Oracle, Sql Server, And Mysql. A Senior Database Administrator Should Have A Strong Understanding Of These Platforms And Be Able To Work With Them Efficiently.
