We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Security Research Engineer Intern at Cisco Systems. Programming and scripting experience with Python, JavaScript or other languages is also desired. Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct security research to develop and deploy innovative security solutions.
  2. Design and build security solutions with programming and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript and other languages.
  3. Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in security research.
  4. Collaborate with the team to create strategies to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  5. Develop and implement security protocols to ensure the safety and security of data and systems.
  6. Analyze complex security issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  7. Document security processes, protocols, and findings.
  8. Participate in security audits and reviews.
  9. Train and mentor other team members on security research principles and best practices.
