Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Analog/Mixed-Signal Ic Design: A Principal Analog/Mixed-Signal Ic Design Engineer At Cisco Systems Should Possess A Strong Background In Designing And Implementing Complex Analog And Mixed-Signal Integrated Circuits. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Circuit Theory, Design Methodologies, And Simulation Tools.

  • Proficiency In Industry-Standard Eda Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Familiar With Industry-Standard Electronic Design Automation (Eda) Tools Such As Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Graphics, And Synopsys. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Using These Tools To Design, Simulate, And Verify Complex Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuits.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Principles: A Principal Analog/Mixed-Signal Ic Design Engineer Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Fundamental Analog And Mixed-Signal Design Principles, Including Noise Analysis, Feedback Systems, And Layout Techniques. This Knowledge Is Essential For Designing Robust And High-Performance Circuits.

  • Experience With System-Level Design: Cisco Systems' Products Often Involve Integrating Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuits With Digital Components And Other Subsystems. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience With System-Level Design And Be Able To Work Closely With Digital Designers To Ensure Seamless Integration Of Analog/Mixed-Signal Components.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Principal Engineer, This Role May Involve Leading A Team Of Engineers And Managing Projects From Conception To Production. The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Skills, Be Able To Mentor And Guide Junior Engineers, And Have Experience In Project Management To Ensure Timely And Successful Delivery Of Projects.
