- Conduct thorough validation tests on new silicon and application designs to ensure they meet performance standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues or bugs in the design, and work with the design team to find solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, software, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of new designs.
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans and procedures for post-silicon validation.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to inform design improvements.
- Continuously monitor and analyze industry trends and competitor products to inform design decisions.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry developments to make recommendations for design enhancements.
- Provide technical support to other teams, including customer support and sales, on post-silicon validation related issues.
- Participate in design reviews and provide valuable feedback for improving design performance.
- Work closely with the design team to optimize performance and identify areas for improvement in the design process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all validation activities.

Strong Understanding Of Hardware Design Principles: A Successful Candidate For This Role Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Hardware Design Principles, Including Digital And Analog Circuit Design, Signal Integrity, And Power Delivery. This Knowledge Will Be Essential For Troubleshooting And Validating Designs In The Post-Silicon Stage.
Experience With Post-Silicon Validation Methodologies: Candidates Must Have Experience With Various Post-Silicon Validation Methodologies Such As Functional Testing, Power Analysis, And Hardware Debugging. This Will Enable Them To Identify And Resolve Design Issues Efficiently.
Knowledge Of Programming Languages And Scripting: Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C, C++, And Python Is Essential For Writing Scripts And Developing Test Automation Tools. A Candidate Must Also Have Experience With Hardware Description Languages (Hdl) Like Verilog And Vhdl.
Experience With Lab Equipment And Debugging Tools: Candidates Should Have Hands-On Experience With Lab Equipment Such As Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, And Protocol Analyzers. Knowledge Of Hardware Debugging Tools Like Jtag And Boundary Scan Is Also Important For This Role.
