  1. Conduct thorough validation tests on new silicon and application designs to ensure they meet performance standards.
  2. Identify and troubleshoot any issues or bugs in the design, and work with the design team to find solutions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, software, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of new designs.
  4. Develop and maintain detailed test plans and procedures for post-silicon validation.
  5. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to inform design improvements.
  6. Continuously monitor and analyze industry trends and competitor products to inform design decisions.
  7. Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry developments to make recommendations for design enhancements.
  8. Provide technical support to other teams, including customer support and sales, on post-silicon validation related issues.
  9. Participate in design reviews and provide valuable feedback for improving design performance.
  10. Work closely with the design team to optimize performance and identify areas for improvement in the design process.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all validation activities.
  12. Adhere to project timelines and deliver validation results within specified deadlines.
  13. Mentor and train junior team members on post-silicon validation techniques and processes.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Hardware Design Principles: A Successful Candidate For This Role Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Hardware Design Principles, Including Digital And Analog Circuit Design, Signal Integrity, And Power Delivery. This Knowledge Will Be Essential For Troubleshooting And Validating Designs In The Post-Silicon Stage.

  • Experience With Post-Silicon Validation Methodologies: Candidates Must Have Experience With Various Post-Silicon Validation Methodologies Such As Functional Testing, Power Analysis, And Hardware Debugging. This Will Enable Them To Identify And Resolve Design Issues Efficiently.

  • Knowledge Of Programming Languages And Scripting: Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C, C++, And Python Is Essential For Writing Scripts And Developing Test Automation Tools. A Candidate Must Also Have Experience With Hardware Description Languages (Hdl) Like Verilog And Vhdl.

  • Experience With Lab Equipment And Debugging Tools: Candidates Should Have Hands-On Experience With Lab Equipment Such As Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, And Protocol Analyzers. Knowledge Of Hardware Debugging Tools Like Jtag And Boundary Scan Is Also Important For This Role.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Post-Silicon Validation Engineer, The Candidate Will Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Design, Verification, And Software Engineering. Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential For Effectively Collaborating With These Teams And Driving The Validation Process Forward.
