- Develop and implement reliability test plans and procedures for optical products.
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations to identify and resolve potential reliability issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product design and manufacturing processes for enhanced reliability.
- Monitor and analyze field data to identify potential product reliability trends.
- Work with suppliers to ensure components and materials meet reliability standards.
- Identify and recommend improvements to product design to enhance reliability and reduce potential failures.
- Conduct accelerated life testing to evaluate product performance under extreme conditions.
- Develop and maintain reliability models to predict product performance and failure rates.
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate reliability data and findings to stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in optical technology to continuously improve product reliability.
- Participate in design reviews to provide input on reliability requirements and concerns.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to product reliability.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on reliability techniques and best practices.
- Proactively identify and address potential reliability risks during the product development process.
- Continuously evaluate and improve reliability testing methodologies and processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Optical Design, Testing, And Reliability Analysis
Strong Understanding Of Optical Components And Systems, Including Lasers, Fibers, Detectors, And Transceivers
Proficiency In Industry Standard Reliability Tools And Techniques, Such As Fmea, Fta, And Halt
Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Optical Issues.
