- Conduct research and analysis to identify potential OEM and ODM partners for Cisco's Meraki team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key OEM and ODM partners to ensure reliable and efficient supply chain management.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify product needs and requirements, and work with suppliers to meet those needs.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decisions and strategies.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure a diverse and competitive supply chain.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure on-time delivery and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- Continuously review and improve sourcing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and market trends to management.
- Stay informed on Cisco's products and technologies to effectively communicate and negotiate with suppliers.
- Collaborate with the Meraki team to identify opportunities for new product development and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sourcing activities.
- Mentor and support junior members of the sourcing team to develop their skills and knowledge.
Experience In Sourcing And Managing Jdm (Odm) Partnerships: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Background In Sourcing And Managing Partnerships With Jdm (Odm) Manufacturers.
