As an IDP Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise for our Identity Platform, ensuring its smooth operation and continuous improvement.   1. Provide technical support and expertise for the Identity Platform (IDP) to ensure its smooth operation and continuous improvement.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the IDP, including authentication, authorization, and access control.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to improve the IDP's performance and functionality.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert on identity and access management, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  5. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide timely and accurate resolutions to their inquiries and concerns.
  6. Document and maintain knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides for the IDP to assist with issue resolution and knowledge sharing.
  7. Participate in on-call support rotation to ensure 24/7 availability for critical issues.
  8. Identify and escalate issues to appropriate teams for resolution, while ensuring timely and effective communication with customers.
  9. Proactively monitor and analyze platform performance, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact customers.
  10. Collaborate with the development team to provide feedback and suggestions for improving the IDP's functionality and user experience.
  11. Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing updates and recommendations on platform improvements and issue resolutions.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to optimize support operations and ensure exceptional customer service.
  13. Train and mentor junior support engineers to enhance their technical skills and knowledge of the IDP.
  14. Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services, as well as industry regulations and compliance standards.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including data security and confidentiality guidelines.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Identity And Access Management (Iam) Concepts And Protocols, Such As Saml, Oauth, Openid Connect, And Ldap.

  • Experience With Implementing And Managing Identity Platforms, Such As Cisco Identity Services Engine (Ise) And Cisco Identity Services Engine - Policy Administration Node (Ise-Pan).

  • Knowledge Of Networking And Security Technologies, Including Firewalls, Vpns, And Encryption.

  • Familiarity With Cisco Products And Solutions, Including Routers, Switches, And Security Appliances.

  • Excellent Troubleshooting Skills And Ability To Provide Timely And Effective Technical Support To Customers.
