  1. Design and implement power supply systems for Cisco's cutting-edge networking equipment.
  2. Conduct research and stay updated on the latest developments in board mounted power systems.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
  4. Perform detailed analysis and testing of power systems to ensure performance and reliability.
  5. Generate technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and test plans.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to power supply systems.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to power supply systems.
  8. Continuously improve and optimize power supply designs to improve performance and reduce costs.
  9. Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise and recommendations.
  10. Train and mentor junior team members on power supply design and implementation.
  11. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality components and materials.
  12. Ensure all designs comply with Cisco's quality standards and processes.
  13. Proactively identify and propose innovative solutions to improve power supply systems.
  14. Support product development and testing teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.
  15. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in hardware engineering to drive continuous improvement in power supply systems.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Designing And Testing Board Mounted Power Systems

  • Proficiency In Hardware Design Tools Such As Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics Pads, And/Or Altium Designer

  • Strong Understanding Of Power Supply Topologies, Analog And Digital Circuits, And Signal Integrity Principles

  • Experience With Industry Standards And Compliance Regulations For Power Systems, Such As Ul, Iec, And Emc Testing.
