  1. Conduct global trade compliance screenings on all company transactions to ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
  2. Stay up-to-date on global trade compliance laws and regulations and communicate any changes or updates to relevant teams within the company.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential compliance risks and develop effective strategies to mitigate them.
  4. Review and analyze trade data to identify potential trade compliance issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  5. Develop and maintain processes and procedures for global trade compliance to ensure consistency and accuracy in compliance screenings.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on global trade compliance processes and regulations, providing guidance and training to other team members and relevant departments within the company.
  7. Conduct regular audits to identify any gaps or deficiencies in the company's global trade compliance processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Manage import and export licenses and permits, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to relevant government agencies.
  9. Collaborate with external partners such as customs brokers, freight forwarders, and trade consultants to ensure compliance with trade regulations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  10. Communicate with customers and suppliers to ensure compliance with trade regulations and address any compliance-related inquiries or concerns.
  11. Monitor and report on global trade compliance metrics to track the effectiveness of the company's compliance program and identify areas for improvement.
  12. Represent the company in trade compliance audits and investigations, providing necessary documentation and support to regulatory agencies.
  13. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's global trade compliance program.
  14. Uphold ethical business practices and promote a culture of compliance throughout the company.
  15. Collaborate with other members of the global trade compliance team to develop and implement company-wide compliance initiatives and projects.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Export Control Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Global Export Control Regulations, Including Those Set By The Us Department Of Commerce, State Department, And Treasury Department. This Includes Knowledge Of Restricted Parties Lists, Sanctions, And Embargoes.

  • Experience In Trade Compliance Screening: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Trade Compliance Screening, Preferably In A Global Company. They Should Be Familiar With Various Screening Tools And Have Experience In Conducting Screenings And Resolving Potential Matches.

  • Attention To Detail: Global Trade Compliance Screening Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail, As Even Small Errors Can Have Significant Consequences. The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And The Ability To Identify And Resolve Complex Compliance Issues.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Trade Compliance Screening Analyst, The Candidate Will Need To Collaborate With Various Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Legal, Sales, And Supply Chain Teams.
