Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ESG Finance Manager to join our team and help drive our sustainability efforts. As the ESG Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and executing financial strategies that align with our ESG goals and drive sustainable growth.   1. Develop and implement financial strategies that align with Cisco's ESG goals and drive sustainable growth.
  2. Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations on ESG initiatives and investments.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate ESG considerations into business decisions and processes.
  4. Monitor and report on the financial impact of ESG initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices for ESG finance.
  6. Communicate ESG financial performance and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Ensure compliance with ESG regulations and reporting requirements.
  8. Identify and manage financial risks associated with ESG initiatives.
  9. Work with external partners and vendors to integrate ESG considerations into financial processes.
  10. Coach and mentor team members on ESG finance principles and practices.
  11. Collaborate with other ESG team members to develop and execute a comprehensive sustainability strategy.
  12. Continuously assess and improve ESG finance processes and procedures.
  13. Represent Cisco in external ESG forums and events.
  14. Uphold and promote Cisco's commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of Cisco's ESG program.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Understanding Of Esg Principles And Their Impact On Financial Performance: A Qualified Esg Finance Manager At Cisco Systems Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Environmental, Social, And Governance (Esg) Principles And Their Influence On Financial Decision-Making. This Includes Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations, Industry Trends, And Best Practices In Esg Integration.

  • Experience In Financial Analysis And Reporting: The Esg Finance Manager Should Possess Advanced Financial Analysis Skills And Be Able To Interpret And Communicate Esg Data And Metrics In A Clear And Concise Manner. They Should Also Have Experience In Preparing Financial Reports And Presentations For Various Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of Sustainability And Sustainable Investing: As Esg Becomes An Increasingly Important Factor In Investment Decisions, The Esg Finance Manager Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Sustainability Practices And Sustainable Investing Strategies. This Includes Knowledge Of Esg Rating Frameworks, Disclosure Standards, And Sustainable Finance Trends.

  • Strong Project Management And Communication Skills: Esg Initiatives Often Require Collaboration And Coordination Across Various Teams And Departments. The Esg Finance Manager Should Have Excellent Project Management Skills And Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Cross-Functional Teams To Ensure Successful Implementation Of Esg Strategies.

  • Experience In Risk Management And Compliance: Esg Finance Managers Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Risk Management And Compliance Practices Related To Esg. This Includes Knowledge Of Potential Esg Risks And Opportunities, As Well As Compliance Requirements For Esg Reporting And Disclosure. Experience In Developing And Implementing Esg Risk Management Strategies Is Also Desirable.
