  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive excellence in component technology and quality for our products.
  2. Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the development, testing, and delivery of high-quality components.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of component development with overall product goals and timelines.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in component technology, and make recommendations for adoption.
  5. Establish and maintain relationships with external component suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of components.
  6. Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure consistency and reliability of components.
  7. Monitor and analyze component performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize component selection.
  8. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  9. Collaborate with product teams to identify and resolve any component-related issues or defects.
  10. Stay informed on relevant regulations and standards related to component technology and quality, and ensure compliance.
  11. Manage the component technology and quality budget, and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  12. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of component technology and quality initiatives.
  13. Mentor and develop team members to ensure a high-performing and motivated team.
  14. Represent Cisco Systems at industry events and conferences to promote our company's reputation as a leader in technology and quality.
