Consulting Engineer (Intern)

We are seeking a highly motivated Consulting Engineer (Intern) to join our Cisco Systems team. The ideal candidate will have the necessary qualifications to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for technology and engineering and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with at least one year of professional experience in a related field. Knowledge of Cisco products and technologies, such as routing, switching, and security, is preferred. Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl and a working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems are also beneficial. The successful candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. The ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to challenging problems is a must.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy solutions and protocols to address customer needs using Cisco products and technologies.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Cisco products and systems.
3. Develop scripts in Python or Perl to automate tasks and streamline processes.
4. Install, configure, and maintain Cisco products and systems, including routers, switches, and security systems.
5. Monitor system performance and security, and make recommendations for improvements.
6. Utilize Linux and Windows operating systems to support Cisco products.
7. Collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams to ensure successful implementation of projects.
8. Think critically and come up with creative solutions to challenging problems.
9. Create and present technical documents to stakeholders.
10. Remain knowledgeable of industry trends and developments.
