Cloud Security Engineer

Cisco Systems is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Cloud Security Engineer to join our team and help keep our customers secure. In this role, you will be a key player in helping to protect our customers and their data from malicious actors and malicious activity. If you are a passionate and driven security professional with experience in cloud security and the ability to think outside the box, then this is the role for you. To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering and/or system administration. Experience in cloud security technologies such as Firewall, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Web Application Firewall is a must. Additionally, you must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues to develop new security solutions and strategies. Finally, you must have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills and be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities:

1. Develop new security solutions and strategies to protect customers and their data from malicious actors and malicious activity.
2. Monitor cloud security technologies such as Firewall, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Web Application Firewall.
3. Investigate and analyze security incidents and threats.
4. Implement security measures to prevent security breaches.
5. Manage security policies and procedures.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies.
7. Create and maintain security documentation.
8. Provide technical support and training to internal and external customers.
9. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
10. Assist in the development of secure cloud architecture and infrastructure.
