Cloud Security Engineer

The ideal candidate will possess the qualifications listed below, and have a drive to push the boundaries of security innovation.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field• 5+ years of experience in network and cloud security• Expertise in cloud technology, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform• Knowledge of security assessment tools, such as Nessus, Burp Suite, and Wireshark• Strong understanding of common security protocols and technologies, such as IPSEC, SSL/TLS, and SSH• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills• Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and external stakeholders• Proven experience developing and maintaining security policies and procedures

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions that meet industry best practices.
2. Monitor and assess network and cloud security for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
3. Maintain and update security assessment tools, such as Nessus, Burp Suite, and Wireshark.
4. Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
5. Implement and maintain security protocols and technologies, such as IPSEC, SSL/TLS, and SSH.
6. Investigate and resolve security incidents, taking corrective action as needed.
7. Conduct security audits and provide comprehensive reports on findings.
8. Educate internal teams and external stakeholders on the importance of security and best practices.
9. Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date on the latest security tools and techniques.
