Cloud Security Engineer

Cisco Systems is seeking an experienced and passionate Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the security of our cloud-based systems, ensuring our customers’ data and information remain secure. To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical knowledge of cloud security, as well as experience in developing and testing secure solutions. If you are a self-starter who is up for the challenge of protecting our customers’ sensitive information, then we want to hear from you.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in a cloud security engineering role. Expertise in cloud-based security technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform is also required. You should also have excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions. Lastly, a deep understanding of industry best practices and standards related to cloud security is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain secure cloud-based solutions for the company's customers
2. Monitor and audit cloud security systems to ensure customer data is adequately protected
3. Utilize AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform to develop and implement cloud security strategies
4. Troubleshoot and resolve security issues related to cloud-based systems
5. Research and stay up to date with industry best practices and standards for cloud security
6. Document cloud security policies and procedures
7. Collaborate with other teams to ensure cloud security is implemented and maintained
8. Create and maintain detailed reports about cloud security activities
9. Develop and test secure solutions for cloud-based systems
10. Provide technical support and guidance to other teams as needed
