
Account Manager, Optical

- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts in the optical industry.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow revenue and market share within assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for account growth and retention.
- Stay updated on industry trends and challenges to effectively position Cisco's products and services.
- Conduct regular account reviews to assess customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to key stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to meet revenue targets and achieve profitability.
- Utilize CRM tools to track account activity, manage leads, and forecast sales.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on sales performance and market trends to management.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Cisco, promoting the company's products and services at industry events and conferences.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and initiatives for the optical market.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance and solutions to meet their business objectives.
- Continuously seek out new business opportunities and proactively identify ways to expand Cisco's presence within the optical industry.
- Exceed sales targets and contribute to overall team success.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Sales Or Account Management In The Optical Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Optical Networking Technologies And Solutions, Such As Dwdm, Sonet/Sdh, And Fiber Optic Cables.
Proven Track Record Of Achieving Sales Targets And Building Strong Relationships With Key Accounts.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
