  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for security solutions in the western region of the United States.
  2. Identify and engage potential clients through various channels, such as cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide customized security solutions.
  4. Conduct thorough research on the security landscape and stay updated on industry trends and competitors to effectively position our solutions and differentiate from the competition.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and technical teams, to develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  6. Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  7. Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and long-term partnerships.
  8. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and identify areas of improvement.
  9. Represent Cisco Systems at industry events and conferences to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  10. Continuously update knowledge and skills on Cisco's security solutions and industry developments to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Security Solutions: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Deep Knowledge Of Security Products And Solutions, Including Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, Encryption, And Cloud Security.

  • Proven Sales Experience In The Security Industry: Candidates Should Have A Track Record Of Selling Security Solutions To Enterprise Clients. This Includes Experience In Developing And Maintaining Relationships With Key Decision Makers, Understanding Their Security Needs, And Effectively Presenting And Selling Solutions To Meet Those Needs.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Account Executive, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Building And Maintaining Relationships With Clients, As Well As Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams Within Cisco. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Effectively Conveying Technical Information And Building Trust With Clients.

  • Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen: The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Strategic Mindset And The Ability To Understand And Anticipate Market Trends And Customer Needs. They Should Also Possess Strong Business Acumen, Including The Ability To Analyze Financial Data, Create Sales Plans, And Effectively Manage Pipelines And Forecasts.

  • Technical Expertise And Certifications: Since This Role Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Security Products And Solutions, Candidates Should Have Technical Expertise And Relevant Certifications, Such As Cisco Certified Network Associate (Ccna) Security Or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp). This Demonstrates A Commitment To Ongoing Learning And Development In The Security Field.
