The Design Assistant at Christian Louboutin plays an integral role in helping to create the iconic luxury footwear designs that define the brand. The ideal candidate is someone with an eye for detail, an affinity for luxury fashion, and a passion for the Christian Louboutin aesthetic. We are looking for an individual with the creativity and drive to help bring the brand’s vision to life.This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as the Design Assistant will be involved in all aspects of the design process from concept to completion. The successful applicant must also have a degree in fashion design, be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, and have experience in the luxury fashion industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative concepts for Christian Louboutin footwear designs that reflect the brand’s aesthetic.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure that all designs are consistent with the brand’s vision.
- Assist in the design process from concept to completion, including researching design styles, selecting materials, and creating sketches.
- Communicate effectively with the design team to ensure that all design elements are in line with the brand’s standards.
- Ensure accuracy of technical drawings and specifications for all footwear designs.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to create detailed sketches, renderings, and presentations of footwear designs.
- Monitor and evaluate trends in the luxury fashion industry to ensure that Christian Louboutin’s designs remain up-to-date and on-trend.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other industry professionals.
- Ensure that all designs are completed in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
