Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, creative, and highly organized individual to join the Christian Louboutin team as an Assistant Buyer. The successful candidate will have a passion for fashion, a keen eye for trend and an excellent understanding of the luxury market. The Assistant Buyer will report directly to the Buyer and will play an integral role in helping to create and implement the seasonal buying strategy.To be successful in this role, the Assistant Buyer must possess exceptional problem solving skills, superior organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment. A Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field is required, as well as a minimum of two years of retail buying experience. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the luxury market and the latest fashion trends.If you are an ambitious and driven professional who is looking for an exciting opportunity to join a successful and dynamic team, then this is the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Buyer in creating and implementing the seasonal buying strategy.
  2. Analyze sales data to track customer preferences and trends.
  3. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the current fashion trends and the luxury market.
  4. Monitor stores to ensure that the product mix and inventory levels are accurately represented.
  5. Monitor competitors’ prices to ensure that the company’s prices are competitive.
  6. Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  8. Generate reports and forecasts to analyze sales figures and trends.
  9. Monitor stock levels and ensure that orders are placed on time.
  10. Process and manage orders to ensure that delivery deadlines are met.
