Lead Data Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join our growing team at Chick-fil-A! This role is an integral part of our organization responsible for leading our efforts to develop, implement, and maintain our data engineering processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, a passion for applying technology to solve complex business problems, and a strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, including the design and implementation of ETL processes, data warehouse structures, and data lake structures. You must have expert knowledge of Python, SQL, and related technologies, as well as experience with distributed computing frameworks. Additionally, strong communication and collaboration skills, coupled with the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilites:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of data engineering processes for the organization

• Analyze complex business problems and apply technology to solve them

• Develop and maintain ETL processes, data warehouse and data lake structures
