Student Pharmacy Technician

CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking a dedicated and organized Student Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting in the delivery of quality healthcare services. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.The Pharmacy Technician will provide support to the pharmacy team by performing a variety of technical and administrative tasks, including stocking shelves, collecting payments, and interpreting prescriber’s orders. Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves with medications and other products • Collect payments from customers • Interpret prescriber’s orders and accurately enter patient information • Prepare medications for dispensing • Assist with compounding medications • Maintain knowledge of medication names, uses, and dosages • Communicate with customers, staff, and other healthcare personnel • Assist with inventory control and management • Adhere to safety and quality standards • Ensure accuracy of all documents and orders • Assist with verifying orders for accuracy and completeness • Maintain a clean and organized work environment • Perform other duties assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or other pharmacy staff
