Job Description

CHI St. Alexius Health is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will use your expertise and experience to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. We are looking for someone who has a passion for helping people, and the ability to think critically and creatively in order to develop individualized treatment plans for a variety of diagnoses.To be successful in this role, you must be a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. You must also have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting. You must be able to work independently and collaboratively with a team of professionals. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans for a variety of diagnoses.
  3. Maintain a valid license in Speech Language Pathology.
  4. Maintain a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  5. Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  6. Work independently and collaboratively with a team of professionals.
  7. Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  8. Demonstrate a positive attitude.
  9. Demonstrate enthusiasm for helping people reach their communication goals.

The CHI St. Alexius Health regional healthcare system was formed in April 2016, when several Catholic Health Initiative healthcare facilities joined together to form the largest healthcare delivery system in central and western North Dakota. The system is comprised of a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, and critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.
