Social Worker

CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking a passionate and motivated Social Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide compassionate care to meet the psychosocial needs of our patients and their families. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university, along with current licensure as a clinical social worker in North Dakota. In addition, we are looking for an individual with at least two years of experience in a healthcare setting, as well as a working knowledge of the medical field. Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate care to meet the psychosocial needs of patients and their families.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families.
3. Actively listen to patient needs and concerns, and provide counseling or assistance as needed.
4. Implement evidence-based interventions to address patient needs and concerns.
5. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
6. Develop and maintain effective documentation of patient care and progress.
7. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
8. Collaborate with health care providers to provide comprehensive care.
9. Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and progress.
10. Participate in continuing education and training to stay up to date on best practices.

The CHI St. Alexius Health regional healthcare system was formed in April 2016, when several Catholic Health Initiative healthcare facilities joined together to form the largest healthcare delivery system in central and western North Dakota.
