1. Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the premises at all times.
2. Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and address any potential security threats.
3. Enforce CHI St. Alexius Health's security policies and procedures.
4. Respond promptly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies.
5. Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents and report findings to the appropriate authorities.
6. Maintain accurate records of all security-related activities and incidents.
7. Collaborate with other departments and staff members to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
8. Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification and properly documenting visitors and vendors.
9. Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
10. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by answering questions, providing directions, and addressing any security-related concerns.
11. Stay up-to-date on security protocols and procedures and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
12. Communicate effectively and professionally with all individuals, including patients, staff, and law enforcement, to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
13. Attend and participate in training sessions to enhance job knowledge and skills.
14. Maintain a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and ensure all security measures comply with these regulations.
15. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
