We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Department (ED) on a PRN basis. As an RN in our ED, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients during their most critical moments. 1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department (ED) at CHI St. Alexius Health.
2. Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively, utilizing critical thinking and advanced nursing skills.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
4. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
5. Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a positive patient experience.
8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
9. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance nursing skills.
10. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote patient safety.
12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
13. Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.
14. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
15. Continuously strive to improve emergency care processes and procedures.
