1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
2. Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions or issues.
3. Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and addressing any concerns or questions.
4. Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal images for diagnosis.
5. Follow established protocols for patient identification, radiation safety, and image processing.
6. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results.
7. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure all HIPAA regulations are followed.
8. Keep accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
9. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
10. Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
11. Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
12. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, welcoming attitude towards patients and their families.
13. Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the highest level of patient care.
14. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
