
Radiation Oncology Nurse Radiation
CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking an experienced Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for cancer care and experience in radiation oncology nursing. The Radiation Oncology Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including assessment and implementation of radiation therapy treatments in accordance with the treatment plan. The successful candidate will be compassionate and have exceptional communication and organizational skills.Required qualifications for this role include:• Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)• 3+ years of experience in radiation oncology nursing• Knowledge of radiation oncology principles and practices• Ability to work well with physicians, staff, and patients• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teamThis is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and patient-focused healthcare team. Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care, including assessment and implementation of radiation therapy treatments according to the treatment plan • Monitor patient conditions and progress during radiation therapy • Administer patient medications and track responses • Educate patients on radiation therapy and its benefits • Develop individualized care plans for each patient • Follow safety guidelines and maintain clinical records • Communicate with physicians, staff, and patients in a professional manner • Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed • Maintain a clean and organized work environment • Participate in department meetings and staff training sessions • Assist other healthcare professionals with radiation oncology procedures
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing
Current Rn License In North Dakota
Minimum Of Years Of Radiation Oncology Experience In An Acute Care Setting
Certified Oncology Nurse (Ocn) Certification
