CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Physical Therapy Aide to join our exceptional team. The Physical Therapy Aide is a crucial part of our team, helping to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care. Responsibilities will include assisting patients with their therapy needs, providing guidance and support for therapists, and upholding the highest standards of safety and cleanliness. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding customer service, and a passion for helping others. Additionally, the ideal candidate must have a high school diploma and at least 6 months of experience working in a healthcare setting. A certification from an accredited physical therapy program is preferred. Responsibilities:

  1. Assist patients with their therapy needs, including carrying out exercises and providing physical assistance when necessary.
  2. Provide guidance and support for therapists, ensuring that they are able to carry out their duties effectively.
  3. Maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the physical therapy department.
  4. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient care.
  5. Answer any questions that patients or therapists may have regarding the physical therapy process.
  6. Participate in patient education activities.
  7. Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.

The CHI St. Alexius Health regional healthcare system was formed in April 2016, when several Catholic Health Initiative healthcare facilities joined together to form the largest healthcare delivery system in central and western North Dakota.
