Job Description

We at CHI St. Alexius Health are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Account Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient accounts, providing excellent customer service to patients, and ensuring accurate billing of services. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on accuracy and customer service, with excellent organizational and communication skills. If you are passionate about providing excellent customer service, and have the qualifications listed below, we want to hear from you!Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• At least two years of related experience in a healthcare setting• Knowledge of medical billing and coding• Knowledge of insurance requirements• Excellent customer service and communication skills• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage patient accounts and ensure accurate billing of services.
  2. Provide excellent customer service to patients.
  3. Ensure compliance with all insurance requirements.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their accounts.
  5. Maintain accurate records of patient accounts.
  6. Resolve any billing or customer service issues quickly and efficiently.
  7. Respond to inquiries regarding patient accounts in a timely manner.
  8. Utilize Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) to manage patient accounts.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards.
  10. Assist in other related duties as assigned.

The CHI St. Alexius Health regional healthcare system was formed in April 2016, when several Catholic Health Initiative healthcare facilities joined together to form the largest healthcare delivery system in central and western North Dakota.
