Job Description

At CHI St. Alexius Health, we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and compassionate Operating Room Manager to join our team. This position requires an individual who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and leading a team of professionals. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in an operating room setting, as well as a Bachelor's degree in a related field. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of successful management, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities. The Operating Room Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire operating room and ensuring that it runs efficiently and effectively. In this role, you will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that positive patient outcomes are achieved. Responsibilities of an Operating Room Manager:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the operating room and its staff, including scheduling, staffing, and budgeting.

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that positive patient outcomes are achieved.

• Monitor and evaluate staff performance, provide feedback and coaching, and resolve conflicts.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the operating room.

• Ensure the operating room is properly equipped and supplied.

• Monitor and analyze operating room activities and performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements.

• Maintain accurate records of operating room activities and personnel.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

• Ensure effective communication between the operating room staff and other departments.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
