Job Description

CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Assistant Telemetry to join our team! In this role, you will provide compassionate care and support to the Telemetry department through patient-centered care. You will assess patients, monitor vital signs, and help with patient flow. To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for patient care and be dedicated to helping others. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED as well as current certification in Basic Life Support. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, as is a knowledge of medical terminology. You must also have good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare staff. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide compassionate patient care and support in the Telemetry department.
  2. Assess patients and monitor vital signs.
  3. Assist with patient flow.
  4. Maintain current certification in Basic Life Support.
  5. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare staff.
  7. Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  8. Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
  9. Document patient care activities accurately.
  10. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
