Job Description

CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Nuclear Medicine Coordinator to join our healthcare team and help provide exceptional patient care. This position requires an individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to motivate and work with a diverse team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in nuclear medicine, including demonstrated proficiency in the use of Nuclear Medicine technology. We are looking for a professional who is able to manage day-to-day operations while identifying and resolving issues as they arise. The Nuclear Medicine Coordinator at CHI St. Alexius Health will be an integral part of our team, and we are seeking someone with a commitment to providing the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the nuclear medicine department, including scheduling and staffing.
  2. Ensure that all nuclear medicine procedures are performed in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
  3. Monitor the quality of nuclear medicine services and take corrective action when necessary.
  4. Provide guidance and instruction to staff members on the proper use of nuclear medicine equipment.
  5. Manage the inventory of nuclear medicine supplies and equipment, and order new items as needed.
  6. Develop and implement protocols and procedures for nuclear medicine operations.
  7. Maintain records of patient examinations and other related data.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care.
  9. Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families regarding nuclear medicine care.
  10. Remain current on changes in nuclear medicine technology, procedures, and regulations.

The CHI St. Alexius Health regional healthcare system was formed in April 2016, when several Catholic Health Initiative healthcare facilities joined together to form the largest healthcare delivery system in central and western North Dakota.
