Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field: Chi St. Alexius Health Requires All Nuclear Med Tech Applicants To Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Comprehensive Education And Training In The Field.
Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb): Chi St. Alexius Health Requires All Nuclear Med Techs To Hold A Valid Certification From Either The Arrt Or Nmtcb. This Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Passed A Rigorous Exam And Is Qualified To Perform Nuclear Medicine Procedures.
State Licensure: Candidates Must Also Hold A Valid State License To Practice As A Nuclear Med Tech. This Ensures That The Candidate Meets All Necessary Requirements And Is Authorized To Perform Nuclear Imaging Procedures In The State.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting: Chi St. Alexius Health Prefers Candidates With A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility.
