Monitor Technician

The successful candidate must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.The Monitor Technician is a vital part of our patient care team, responsible for monitoring patient cardiac and physiological conditions, recognizing any abnormal changes, and promptly notifying the appropriate personnel. The successful candidate will be able to effectively interpret cardiac rhythms, assess patient safety and take appropriate action, and provide clinical support to the nursing staff.If you are passionate about patient care, have experience as a Monitor Technician, and have the necessary qualifications to excel in this role, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor patient cardiac and physiological conditions using monitoring systems, and recognize any abnormal changes.
2. Promptly notify the appropriate personnel of any abnormal changes observed.
3. Interpret cardiac rhythms, assess patient safety, and take appropriate action.
4. Provide clinical support to the nursing staff.
5. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all safety regulations and protocols.
6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or equipment issues.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all patient assessments.
9. Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
10. Participate in continuing education and training programs to keep up to date with the latest medical technology.
