Monitor Technician

We are searching for a hardworking and dedicated Monitor Technician to join the team at CHI St. Alexius Health. In this role, the Monitor Technician will be responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other indicators of patient health. The successful candidate will have the necessary experience, skills, and knowledge to provide exceptional patient care and ensure positive outcomes.The ideal candidate for this position should have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess exceptional communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Previous experience in a medical environment or as a Monitor Technician is preferred. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The successful candidate will be eager to learn, driven to succeed, and passionate about providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other indicators of health.
2. Provide exceptional patient care and ensure positive outcomes.
3. Maintain effective communication with patients, doctors, and other medical personnel.
4. Assist with patient transfers, treatments, and other medical procedures.
5. Maintain accurate records and document patient progress.
6. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
7. Remain current on medical technology and best practices.
8. Provide guidance and support to new and existing staff members.
9. Assist with the training of newly hired staff.
10. Manage multiple tasks and prioritize duties effectively.
